A consumer-friendly GPS tracker with companion mobile apps for vehicles, valuables, and people on the move.
Challenge
What they were solving for.
Existing trackers were either enterprise-priced and complicated, or cheap and unreliable. The client wanted a product that hit a consumer price point without compromising on positioning accuracy, battery life, or app polish.
Approach
How we built it.
We co-designed firmware on a low-power cellular module with adaptive reporting (slow when stationary, dense when moving), built native iOS and Android apps with live tracking and geofencing, and implemented a backend that ingests positions at scale and exposes a clean REST API.
Outcome
What shipped.
The product launched on schedule with first-pass App Store and Play Store approval, real-time positioning under five seconds end-to-end, and battery life that comfortably exceeded the spec sheet.
