Driver-facing iOS and Android app for finding, starting, and paying for charging across a public EV charging network.
Challenge
What they were solving for.
EV drivers want a frictionless experience: locate a charger, confirm it works, plug in, and pay — without app-roaming headaches. The operator needed an app that made their network feel like the easiest one to use in the city.
Approach
How we built it.
We built native-feeling apps with a fast map UI, real-time charger status pulled from an OCPP-compliant backend, and a session flow that handles plug-and-charge, RFID, and QR start. Payments support multiple instruments with saved tokens for repeat sessions.
Outcome
What shipped.
Driver session start times dropped, support tickets shifted from 'charger broken' guesses to actionable diagnostics, and the operator was able to onboard third-party charger brands through a unified driver UI.
